A picture in my mind
To be the best artist you can be, you have to find what your heart sees as beautiful, not what mainstream sees as beautiful. To be able to find this, you have to know who you are, you have to have clarity. My mind as it has always been, is a great jungle of interwoven thoughts. There is not one path that it can tread. Not one target it can reach. Jack of all trades Master of none. In my mind there is always something missing. I paint a picture in my mind and upon reaching the end of the line I realize it is not worthy of my praise. This picture in my mind, many as they are, is what I crave to achieve. And it all starts with one picture. One photograph that I can call a masterpiece.
A letter for my wife from Valentinus
Valentines Day, Historically a very stressful day as well ;torture and execution in mind;. This was the day a Priest of the Roman Era Valentinus was executed for secretly performing matrimony for soldiers who were not allowed to wed. It was said that the day before Valentinus was to be executed, he sent a Letter to his Jailer’s blind daughter Julia ;pronounced ‘Hu-lya’; whom he performed a miracle on. This letter was signed “Your Valentine” and thus this Legend was born.
And with continuing on with this tradition, not only do I give you this letter, but the days before is also very stressful.. 😛 thinking on what to do or what to buy ;torture; and add to this that your birthday is on the 18th ;execution; so what is a Valentinus to do? In Jail without money? Send you this letter..
